No, NOT Byfuglien! Will not help us. He hurts as much as he helps. We can do better...

Why is there no interest in Alex Burrows coming to the Habs? Seems like an opportunity to pick him up for a bit of a bargain (just a pick or two should do it). I know he has had a tough season, but it might be worth a pick to see if coming to Mtl could revive his career. Or would he just be another Franco player on the back end of his career who underachieves with the Habs (ie. Briere, Tanguay, ...) Worth it??

The Habs played pretty well. Better than the Jets, after the first 5 min., but could not get any puck luck. The boys outchanced the Jets significantly and Montoya certainly outplayed Price. Can't recall a game this season that I would solely blame Price for the loss. Bottom line: you are NOT going to win many games in the NHL by scoring only ONE goal. Scoring please.

No,no NOT the Gooch. Wildly inconsistent. Disappears for long stretches. Way over-rated. Been watching him here in Winnipeg all season. No wonder Minny got rid of him. Stay away.

I would like to see Tinordi called up from the Dogs. He played very well last year during the collapse and did a good job shoring up the defense when it was most needed. Markov is less that effective, Emelin is lost right now, and Murray moves at a glacial pace. Not that impressed with Bealieau either (has anyone else noticed that his offensive rushes never amount to anything but a turnover and a scramble back to our own end). Tinordi up now.

Why is it so hard to be a Habs fan? Why do our teams completely hit rock bottom in our skids? Other teams go into funks during the course of the long season (ex. Leafs recently); but they seem to somehow keep it together and fight thru it. Remember the 'Jeckle & Hyde' team last year and the BIG late season collapse? This appears to be total team collapse 2.0. To play so well (top 4 in power rankings this year/ a top defensive team); and then to come apart at the seams like this. What is with this team??

Why is it SO hard to be a Habs fan? Why do we hit 'rock bottom' in our slumps? Others team play badly for awhile in the course of a long season (ie Leafs), but why do NO other teams seem to fall completely apart. Why do players like Eller get smoked in the playoffs and kill the team's chances (by the way, there has NOT been one hit like the Eller hit this season / when has the Dman entered the zone to nail the center coming out > its very rare, but it happened to us at the worst time!) Weird stuff happens to our team that just doesn't seem to happen to other NHL teams. Why us?

Come on. Have you ever seen Kadri make a good body check. I mean one that mattered. That knocked someone off the puck... Never. He always belts the guy after he has released the puck and then he nails him. Cheat shot, easy shot. You know the play where you take 'the hit to make the play'... that's Kadri on the other side. Watch for it. You will see...

Eakins signed a four year deal with the Oilers. They are still paying several other folks that have been let go as well. He is going no where soon. Too much money left on his contract. Eakins has more time... but Lowe????

The disallowed goal was the turning point in the game. The Habs were pressing shortly after Jersey went up 3-1. They were skating and passing and creating opportunities...looked like a matter of time until the Habs scored. Then the Gally goal. Why did it take soooo long to reach a decision? The Habs bench looked shocked when the ref eventually made the video review call. The team had nothing left after that break- no push. The disallowed goal combined with the lengthy time-out totally killed our momentum. (I have seen several goals that were allowed that seemed MORE kicked in than the Gally goal, but were allowed to stand. Head scratcher...)
