  I was out in my backyard last night and heard cheering. I knew the Leafs were playing so I figured that boded no good. Checked in late in the game -- two minutes left or so -- and went away cursing that the F Leafs would be advancing. I guess I should have noticed that there no horns honking wildly once the game was over. So imagine my surprise and delight to see the headline in the paper this morning. Then I got a Skype message from the son that started HaHahahaha and ended many lines later in the same vein. I laughed out loud.

  Sorry, but that's a ridiculous statistic. Sure it sounds insane -- 67 years without a cup -- but that's just lying with statistical implications.
