Interesting Douglas Murray facts: (all stolen from Wikipedia) -In 2010, he was chosen as the 16th-smartest athlete in sports by Sporting News -He is the co-founder and managing partner of Uber Dispensing Co, which manufactures the UberTap, a hands-free three-spout keg tap invented by Murray and several friends from Cornell. -While Murray represented Sweden in ice hockey at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, another of the company's co-founders, Jamie Moriarty, represented the U.S. in four-man bobsled at the same Olympics. -He once rang the bell at the New York Mercantile Exchange in the summer of 2006. -Murray's maternal grandfather is Swedish hockey player and Olympic bronze-medalist Lasse Björn. His paternal ancestors originate from Scotland. While his cousins all have Swedish names, his mother gave her children Scottish or English names. Murray's brothers are named Charles and Ted, with a sister named Roseanna. -He shared the 2005 Cleveland Barons Rubbermaid "Player of the Year" award with....wait for it...Josh Gorges -Holds the San Jose Sharks record for hits in a game - 9 (tie) - set April 2, 2011

A late Valentine's Day gift for Rick DiPietro, from the Islanders: http://islanderspointblank.com/news/dipietro-on-waivers-they-ripped-my-heart-out-stabbed-it-set-it-on-fire/#more-39274 DiPietro says Isles waiving him felt like, "they ripped my heart out, stabbed it, set it on fire and flushed it down the toilet." Also in that interview, he claims to be feeling suicidal due to the demotion. I guess it's true that money can't buy happiness....

Taken from a post by NewHabsEra on http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/archive/index.php/t-1079307.html: Talking about letter on his jersey, Big Gorges had an anecdote on him that happened 2 years ago, apparently after a game JM was mad about his guys and yelled after them, apparently he told Cammalleri to stop complaining about the fact he had no letter on his jersey and start acting like a pro, then the guys in the room started to look at each other and found it weird.. Then come Christmas time, there was a gifts exchange between players, Lapierre is the one who picked Cammalleri, you know the guy, he found a way to make a joke out of this and put a letter in the box, apparently a "C", so when Cammy oppened the box, the guy was apparently offended and left without saying anything while all the other guys were laughing out loud.. LoL .. A girl no doubt..

I agree with pretty much all you said, and especially your assesment of Gill. That's why it's a damn fine thing he was traded to Nashville back in February....;-p
