  I was thinking about it, and I don't think we can buy Kaberle out during the summer. Didn't the CBA stipulate one buyout this summer and one buyout next? if that was the case then we used up this years buyout on Gomez (and rightfully so).

  Honestly, I do not see home ice being an advantage against any team except for the penguins and the caps. I mean lets think about it, every other team in the eastern conference is within a 5-6 hour drive of Montreal. Our fans have outnumbered the home town fans in Ottawa, the island, and even Toronto sometimes, and should we play against Boston or New York I can see a large number of fans making their way out to those games as well.

  So apparently Sebastien Collberg is on his way to play with the Bulldogs... Also, does Eller's play as of late remind anyone else of Luis Mendoza (the speedy kid in mighty Ducks 2)? lol

  Isn't he coming off of his EL deal? If so, he'll get 2 yrs at 2-2.5 mil a year. even if not I don't see him getting much more than 3 million with a short term contract

  Carey for sure. Auld had a good game Friday and Saturday, but Carey is the starter, i could see Auld getting another start in Toronto at the end of the season, but it all depends on how the race goes for the division with Boston
