Habs put themselves in a position where they could have won this one. You can't ask for more than that. I disagree that the season is not a success if they don't win the cup. The key is to play well. And they are doing that. It's not over. And... No matter what happens we knocked the Bruins out. That's a success to me.

Yes and we are all going to die someday, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy life to the fullest. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Well said. I too am very happy with all the wins. The one thing I worry about is the teams inability to shut down the opposition when they get a lead. That's something we've had the past few years but without as much scoring on our part. So it doesn't seem to matter. But in the playoffs I think we need to improve our defence. Bottom line: all this is great but if they don't get into the second round it will be for nought. That's all I ask for now. Go Habs Go!

Not right to call Moen ridiculous. He's a good solid player with good character. Someone like Benoit Pouliot, when he was a Hab, could be called ridiculous.

You are exactly right on the penalties in the third. Julien had a long talk with the ref between periods. I bet that has something to do with it.

CBC sports supports the Leafs above all other Canadian teams. They pay lip service to the others. Don Cherry is entertaining arrogance at its worst and appeals to the bigoted side of many. Talk about a homer,He takes the cake.

Yes, he said something to the effect that sending them to the infirmary before meeting them in the playoffs was a good idea. Not very sportsman like was it?

I remember in 1972, the Habs final regular season games were a home and away against a very talented Bruins team including Orr and Esposito. This was the team they were playing in the fist round and they got blown out in both games. Needless to say they were real underdogs going into that series. Habs won the series and the cup that year. These games are important until they are over. Then it's time to move on and focus on the next one.
