- Comment on Pacioretty not on the ice for Lac-Mégantic practice (2013-10-04 11:45:52)
The point is, if Eller is playing great at 14 minutes a game doesn't mean he'll be outstanding at 18... if Galchenyuk is playing good hockey on the wing playing 13 minutes a game, doesn't mean it'll be good for him playing 20 minutes... Teams that have done that we're rebuilding and didn't have many good veteran players to surround the rookies. We happen to have a very good mix of rookies and vetereans up front. Why would anybody want Eller, Galchenyuk and Gallagher face the top d pairing when they are havnig success face less talented defensman playing less time!? Just look at Jordan Staal.... didn't he look good in Pittsburgh playing 3rd center?! We don't need to always second guess everything the coachs do to have an interesting debate or a variety of opinion... Just sayin' 25th cup, coming up!

Just reading a few comment this morning... Some guys seem to know the game of hockey and the canadiens roster better the whole management team in Montreal. Come on!!! The young guns are racking up points, the team is looking good. I mean the rookies are developing better than they have in the last 15 years. Stop complaining about anything and everything. Let the coaches do their job and START CHEERING!!!! Just my two cents. 25th cup, coming up!
- Comment on ‘Louis is disappointed for sure,’ Leblanc’s agent says (2013-09-18 09:43:22)
To be honest, I've never heard anybody, french or english media, say that Leblanc would be the next French Superstar. When he was drafted he was viewed as 3rd line potential and not much more. I think this is still the case. Do you really think he is better than Plekanec, Eller or DD at center?? Even on the wing there's nothing available for Leblanc. This is simply a challenge. Remember when they sent Max Pac down? He wasn't very good. Him and D'Agostini were not going anywhere. Actually d'Agostini was going to St-Louis... and MaxPac was going to Hamilton. Certainly lite up a fire under his behind. They are just challenging Leblanc in the same matter. 25th cup, coming up!
- Comment on Habs GM Bergevin “100 per cent” behind Carey Price (2013-05-14 10:36:59)
I think the media and a lot of fans really need to chill out. Seriously, how can it be Price's play that cost the series when the team only scored 9 goals........ that's NINE goals in five games. Is Price supposed to score too? Might as well get rid of the other 5 guys on the ice and give him a raise. And the Hobbit comment, come on!! He was laughing when he said that... it was a JOKE. The main reason this organisation has been struggling for the past 20 years is because the media and fans have unreasonable expectations and always drive good players out of town. Price wasn't perfect that's for sure but apart from Tinordi, Gallagher, Galchenyuk, Bourque and Prust the rest sucked pretty bad too. Markov ($5.75M) - 5 games, 1 assist, -1 Plekanec, "best forward" ($5M) - 5 games, 4 assists, -5 Ryder ($3.5M) - 5 games, 1 goal, 1 assist, 0 Desharnais ($850K) - 5 games, 1 assist, +1 Diaz - 5 games, 0 pts, -4 Gorges ($3.9M) - 5 games, 0 pts, -4 Bouillon ($1.5M) - 5 games, 0 pts, -3 *Pacioretty - 4 games, 0 pts, 0 Moen ($1.8M) - 5 games, 0 pts, -2 Armstrong ($1M) - 4 games, 0 pts, -1 Just to name a few. This team went from 15th place last season to comfortably making the playoffs this season. This alone is a pretty good achievement. One last thing, those same media and fans who are crapping on this team are the same ones who didn't even put them in the playoffs before the season started. Take it easy. 25th cup, coming up!
