The other clue that the goal should not have counted was the collective groan from Sens fans when the replay was first shown on the board during the review. I know I harped on that point last night, but it's still painfully obvious. Habs were definitely screwed last night. Let's face it...the NHL and Bettman do NOT want a Canadian team to win. Canucks are already out; Leafs will be out in a few days, as will be the Habs. Sens are next. A Habs fan I was born; a Habs fan I shall die.

I'd like to see what Kerry Fraser says about it. Granted, he's a jerk and an awful ref, but his insight on TSN.ca is generally quite good. A Habs fan I was born; a Habs fan I shall die.

Of course he was holding Carey's stick. But you really don't expect the refs to call a penalty on the Sens, do you? It's obvious they're really wearing Sens jerseys. A Habs fan I was born; a Habs fan I shall die.

All the comments about key guys missing, especially Emellin and Eller, are absolutely right. We saw down the stretch how much we missed Emelin on the rearguard. But this series would be much closer, even without those guys and the others who seem to be dropping like flies, if the Sens had been forced to play with only six men on the ice. They've had eight the whole series...six in Sens jerseys and two in the new black and white striped "alternate". Tonight, there were 11...throw in the linesmen and the idiot in the war room who allowed the first goal. The refs screwed us all through Game 1 (they still haven't "paid back" the obviously blown goalie interference call) and haven't let up since. The Sens have been getting away with murder; we burp and we're penalized. I still don't get how the war room allowed the first goal. According to the blog on NHL.com, the idiots ruled there was no distinct kicking motion. If that wasn't, I'd like one of those idiots to show me what is. I've seen goals waved off when a guy has simply twitched a toe! Even the Sens fans expected the goal to be disallowed...there was a collective groan when the replay was first shown on the scoreboard. The icing calls were just ridiculous. Even the putzes at CBC, who we all know are anti-Habs, said the first one was iffy at best and the second was flat-out wrong. Karlsson had time to send a few Tweets, twirl away from the puck, then make a half-hearted attempt to go for the puck. Even a houseleague official would wave that off. Face it. We all know Bettman and the bush league he runs will do anything to keep a Canadian team from winning. Let's not forget the 2004 Finals when the Flames were hosed. Three Canadian teams will be knocked out by the middle of next week. The Sens had better know they'll be screwed next round. A Habs fan I was born; a Habs fan I shall die.
