Kudos to the boys last night and the last couple of weeks. Let's remember these last few games when the boys go through the inevitable rough times in January and February. These last few games show what they are capable of doing! Congrats boys....playing well and I love it!!

Boring night for you, I guess?

I agree with Boone. I have a weird feeling that something is going on about PK. Just a feeling....

I think the teams and the styles they play have something to do with it though. Pronger and Chara are/were on teams that are described/classified as big, bruising players. Big hits during their games are common place. A big hit by a habs player is much more rare event and then noticed a bit more. Just a theory....

I agree with Dipsy Doodle down there regarding Therrien and PK. I had a feeling that PK turned it down a notch after the "pinch in" goal and also noticed that he pinched with about 5 second left in the second period which led to a decent scoring chance for Columbus. I think Therrien talked to him and PK dialed it down a bit. That is fine, but be careful....there are much more positives to his game when he is aggressive like that than negatives. He is something to watch. That pass to Bourque at full speed was a beauty!!

Agree with Stevie Ray, and yes, I do believe the defense and the entire played better than the night before because they realized they laid an egg. Budaj was the beneficiary of that. Let's just please be happy that we got the "W" and have two very competent goaltenders playing. On to Vancouver. Should be a good game!
- Comment on Pacioretty, Prust back on the ice at Friday practice (2013-10-04 14:18:26)
I agree, Bill. There has to be a reason. Probably something to do with 2011-12 he posted 60 points in 82 games and was +10. Then had a bad 2012-13 in the 48 game schedule. Perhaps they want to give him a clean slate and see if he regains form. He did not look good against the Leafs but you can't just base it on one game this year. He is getting killed on this website, most of it justified, but I do think he deserves a chance. How long of a chance? Like you, I am no coach, so I don't know.

Nice job by the Habs at Lac Megantic. Never forget what happened there...
- Comment on Parros released from hospital; out indefinitely (2013-10-02 18:43:24)
I found the Habs were in control of that game until the shorthanded goal. Definitely had a chance to win up to that point. Then Parros goes down and a pretty sickening feeling after that...couldn't really care if they won or lost after that. Things definitely need to be adjusted in time for Saturday, but they are things that can be done. Looking forward to enjoying the entire game Saturday, win or lose.
- Comment on Predictions, anyone? (2013-10-01 09:18:11)
I am okay with that...as long as he does not dominate on the ice. They just took away his "playing for a contract year". Hopefully he starts slow tonight.
