Familar scene in montreal, players skating around looking at their fellow teamate on a strecher, top player injured as a result of a dirty Maple Leaf hit!! Why doesn't Montreal just mail the two points to Tor. Maple Leafs. Danny Briere! what kind of joke is this!! He stunk with Philly last year when he wsn't injured, he avoided coming to Montreal like the plague at a time when he may of had something to offer. Lets admit it, another embarassment for the fans last night(who would imagine that this game counted for anything the way Habs players ran taking senseless penalties. I've watched this organization for 60 years and believe me I have I can't make any sense of the way coaching & management are operating. Bryant Mac Lean

More disgraceful play by the Montreal Canadiens & disgraceful refereeing Great start to the Season "congrats". Have a little pride for Christ's Sake!! The Toront Maple Leafs go into to the Bell Centre and kick your ass and send you "tuff guy " to the hospital, injur your top scoring.(I have to live in Toronto). I just feel sick, I know it was the first game of the season but I can get a bad feeling!! Same old!! Bryant Mac Lean

Why are we looking so hard to find reason why a team riddled with injury and goaling tending that stunk diddn't win. With decent reffing and a little luck they would have won this series. Is it fair to say half the team was injured? Have you ever seen a team win who had half their injured. The troubled started when Emelin got hurt. Prust's has not been the same since his serious injury. Players who don't have the ability to step up can't step up. period. ! key-player out of the line up makes a difference. As the classy young defenceman with the sens admitted, " we stole a couple of games". No one outside Quebec (except Habs fans) wants to see the Montreal Canadiens to have any success. yes, most of the Reffs are from Ontario(and then there's Bettman). We had a great regular Season and I have a real good feeling about going forward. Bryant Mac Lean

Every time there's a screw-up that leads to be scored against Thomas Plekanic is almost always responsible and no one seems to notice and it sure doesn't seem to bother him any!! Bryant Mac Lean

Don't panic everybody, Les Canadien will come back!! In the first two games the Sens didn't look like they belong in the same league, remember. Fifty shots taken by the habs seems to tell me that if they stick to business they will be fine. PK was definitely bent out of shape last night. I agree that the none call on the stick check to Suban's head that went uncalled seems to have started the game in the wrong direction. There seemed to be something not right between some of the Habs players last night-maybe, maybe not! I predict a return to the normal Habs team Tues. night(the team that won the North East Division) and a win!! Bryant Mac Lean

They let obvious penalties against the canadiens go early and it seemed to rattle some of the habs players. I can't figure whats going on with the Habs & the Reffs!! Bryant Mac Lean

Very troubling loss folks, such a lack of discipline, and a lack of intensity. Actually I was disapointed when it was announced that Gionta & Pacoriety were playing (they were doing nothing before they got hurt). Dumont & Halbern played their hearts out why not give them another game. Bryant Mac Lean
