  ...oh yes, in addition, I think that Price needs to be involved in the game. The new system implemented, as effective as it is, limits the number of shots on the goalie. I seem to think that Price is at his best when he is stopping a higher number of shots throughout the game. It would be interesting to see the stats from last year when he was getting more shots on net per game.

  RE: Goalie Controversy Goalies are a different breed...moody and unpredictable. They are going to have some bad stretches. Look at St. Patrick, Dryden, Brodeur...they('ve) had some weak performances. Better to have these swings at this point in the season, as opposed to playoffs. Price will bounce back. Anyone remember the shellacking he got in Vancouver a few years back?...it served as a wake up call.

  Last time I was at a Habs/leafs game at ACC, we won in overtime...I think Halak was our goaltender at the time. Some leaf fan punched me right in the CH on the front of my jersey as I was walking out. It was worth it!!!!

  New poster here... Today on a toronto sports radio station they were talking about the lack of a 'true' Habs/Leafs rivalry anymore...one guy called in to say that he really didn't think it existed anymore. He also said that he has never felt any bitterness from leaf fans, or felt any scorn for the leafs being a lifelong Hab supporter. My immediate reaction was... this guy is NOT a true Habs fan! My question is, am I alone in my deep-rooted, abhorrence of anything leafs?!
