What is it with this team and their Western Canada road trips? Calgary and Edmonton haven't even sniffed the playoffs in ages but they always play their best against the Habs. Either that or the Habs play down to their level... and lower. Geez, thank God we have the best goalie in the league. ------------------ My avatar ==> San Diego in January

Thanks for the tip. Is the VLC streaming better quality than the feed2all.eu streaming? The feed2all is not that great, but hey it's free. I'm gonna see if VLC is better for the Hawks game tonight. ------------------ My avatar ==> San Diego in January

Yes, but big difference is that Bishop injured himself while trying to make a play. Nobody laid a hand on him. In our case, Price was knocked out by a reckless opponent running into him. As such, the opposing team had a big hand in taking out our most important player in the first game of a 7 game series, "accidentally on purpose". Bishop was injured before the Habs-Tampa series even started, so the Habs had nothing to do with that injury in terms of "causing" it. ----------------- My avatar ==> San Diego in January

Guys, check this out ... the similarities between St. Loius Blues' first round matchups last year and this year... freakin' amazing: 2013 Round 1 Blues vs. Kings (defending Stanley Cup champions) Game 1: Alex Steen scored game-winning goal in OT. Game 2: Barret Jackman scored game-winning goal. Game 3: Blues outshot Kings by nine, got shut out. Game 4: Blues blew 3-2 lead late in third period, lost 4-3. Game 5: Alex Pietrangelo scored game-tying goal (his first of the playoffs, assisted by Jaden Schwartz), Blues lost 3-2 in OT. Game 6: Blues lost 2-1, eliminated from playoffs. 2014 Round 1 Blues vs. Blackhawks (defending Stanley Cup champions) Game 1: Alex Steen scored game-winning goal in OT. Game 2: Barret Jackman scored game-winning goal. Game 3: Blues outshot Blackhawks by nine, got shut out. Game 4: Blues blew 3-2 lead late in third period, lost 4-3. Game 5: Alex Pietrangelo scored game-tying goal (his first of the playoffs, assisted by Schwartz), Blues lost 3-2 in OT. That entire CBC team are Hab-haters. They would rather see them lose instead of cheering them as Canada's sole representative in the playoffs. What a joke the CBC is ...

Yes, it is close to paradise here. There are only 2 seasons: summer (without the humidity) and late spring :p Snow, and even rain for that matter, is practically non-existent. I think it has rained here twice since last September. The only thing missing here is a hockey team...

Hey Boone, Andrei Markov is Canadian! Dual citizenship. He may not be a native son, but he's just as Canadian as all those other guys you mentioned :)
