- Comment on Habs’ Brière will be a healthy scratch against Blues (2013-12-19 14:13:15)
Briere's scratch was coming. Became more clear after he played less than 5 minutes against the Coyotes. He had success when he played with Gionta and Plekanec, however, Galchenyuk is there now and doing quite well. So I don't see a need to switch that up. Briere needs to take a look at his game tape and pick out his mistakes, what he has done well etc and try to get back into it. Signing him was a mistake, that is certain, but were stuck for now. He needs to wake up. Also for Gionta bashers or those who also recognize that the captain is still effective in a Habs jersey, read this: http://www.allaboutthehabs.ca/keep-calm-gios-truth-told/ -- Proves how Gio is very important to their success.

Could be a rough game if the boys in front of Carey play like they have been recently. Need to find ways to score. Drive the net. I don't understand how they always say that they need to drive the net, get screens etc and hardly ever do it. Latest Habs prospect update: http://www.allaboutthehabs.ca/prospect-update-nov-11-17/

Therrien needs to play Subban the most minutes and get that kid on the penalty kill. Diaz playing over him is ridiculous. Anyways hope the Habs can pull out a W in Minnesota tonight. Need to get a serious streak going. Latest Habs Prospect Update: http://www.allaboutthehabs.ca/prospect-update-oct-21-27/
- Comment on Parros, Murray join Habs teammates for practice (2013-10-25 18:56:34)
With Murray close to returning, I don't want to see a young kid sit to fit him in nor do I want to see him playing every night. His prime has passed and I know he can be a force if he lines the opposition up to get the hit in but he is slow and I think he is going to get blown by a lot. and not a chance that bernier will be there much longer

In the playoffs, a hot goaltender and puck luck can get you pretty far. Montreal went up against a team that had both. Add in the injuries to the Canadiens and it wasnt a good ending. The habs shouldve won game one but failed to take advantage of that 5on3 PP once Eller was down. Eller going down to me was the turning point personally. Habs dominated 40minutes for sure in game one, shouldve scored more goals in the second period. They didn't and lost the game. Game two they played well in all 3 periods and pulled out a victory. Game 3 as we know was the worst Habs played maybe all year i dont even know. Game 4 they shouldve won and for whatever reason sat on a lead which was not something they did all season! Plus MT thought it would be just fine to sit Galchenyuk and Tinordi in the 3rd.. game 5 well, dominated for awhile and Sens had a few breaks that they capitalized, didnt help that Budaj had some nerves on the first couple that went by him. When you have 6 regulars out and then Max playing with a separated shoulder, its a recipe for absolute disaster and it occurred. They didnt even seem to try in the 3rd and OTT scored three times. Donezo.

While I do like Diaz, because he is not as soft as Weber who needs to be traded ok Marc?, I would like Nygren to take Rafa's spot down the road. It was reported that the Habs inked Nygren: http://www.allaboutthehabs.ca/habs-sign-nygren-before-deadline/

I am laughing so hard at the Timmins comment at the end of this, what a joke of a statement.
- Comment on Gionta’s season is over; Prust, White out for Game 5; Price listed as day-to-day (2013-05-08 15:08:18)
The boys aren't done yet but it won't be easy, especially with the injuries. Habs have played well in 3 out of 4 games and arguably should be in a better position than down 3-1. Was that a kick in last night? Most certainly. A number of angles indicate that fact. We can't do anything about it. Montreal has to take one game at a time and hopefully they get more games than just tomorrow. id even switch Galchenyuk and Desharnais. I think DD would be better off at wing, would cut some of his defensive liabilities.
