I for one love the move to put Plek on with the GG's. He is smart defensively, allowing the other two to run rapid, and he has the speed and oofensive skill to really complement the two Gs. I think with some time, they could build some great chemistry. Imagine those three going in 3 on 1. they can all shoot, pass, and skate very well. Eller Playing with Pac I like a Lot too. Both players are very skilled, big, and strong on the puck. They both are very explosive for their size, and have similar speed. Eller Is a great playmaker, and is a descent finisher, whereas, pacioretty is vise versa. I think, if they are able to build some chemistry, that they are gonna be a great combo. Overall, I think the Habs producce more because both lines will be great, as oppose to just one line being superb.

I think DD gets more ice time then Eller for 3 reasons. 1) They want to keep Eller's ice time and PP minimal so they can sign him for less then he deserves next season. 2) They want Eller to develop with the young guys (2 Gallys) 3) They want to increse DD's production. I am certain that MB plan is to not sign plek gionta and possibly Bourrque, once their ontract runs out. That way they can move Eller into an number one C, then galchenyuck can become number two and DD can be number 3.

im confident lars will be getting second line minutes. Yes u are right. they do have a lot of balance in their top nine. However, If u look at last season, lars was on the third line, and dd was on the second, and the discrepancy in ice time was quite substantial. SO if they are to reverse rolls, then i am sure Lars will be receiving marginally more ice time then last season. And it is possible he could be a first unit pp, if his production is high enough.

Lars Eller is going to have a break out season this year. He looked amazing last year. He looked big, hungry, and confident. His two way play looked amazing, and its probably gonna get better. And I have a feeling MT is gonna give him lots of ice time. Fearless prediction, Lars is a point per game player this season! Get excited him and 27 will be 1 and 2 down the middle for many years to come!

no problem with creatine whatsoever. its in our meats, the only thing supplements are doing is enhancing our ability to receive a full does of it within a day. for instance, a multiviotamin allows us to reach our full dose of daily vitamins. same thing with creatine supplment, however its important to drink lots of water when ur on that stuff

I know a thing or two about gaining muscle, and the fact that lars can gain 2 to 10 pounds of muscle withing 3 months is very questionable. If u are a body builder, and do everything corrects in terms of nutrition and training, u will be lucky to gain 7 pounds in an entire year. Im guessing he has either gained maybe 3, if his lucky, in muscle and the other 7 in fat. or his juicing... thats the only way u can generate that much muscle growth within that short of a duration. I personally have no problem if he is juicing, because lets face it, its a very competetive league, and i am sure there are many other who are doing just that.

I completely agree with you Ed. I am in no way saying that we are a contender, or a strong all around team. My only point is that there is a lot to look forward to in this upcoming season. And although we do need to get bigger, I also believe we have a team that will be successful. Certainly not successful in terms of a deep run into the playoffs, but maybe as a team that will be exciting to watch, and will have a lot of players that can score and compete.

@ OTISFXU in my original post about having three balanced lines in the last feed. All i am saying is that our team is not as bad as many think. We have 3 very balanced lines, and that is hard to contain, even if they are 'small'. Also I think briere can have a bounce back season. He was injured at the beginning of last season, and it was a short season at that. Not to mention, philadelphia was absolutely brutal last season. Many players productions drop when the team is in a tail spin. Also Bourque is a beast. He skates hard, has a great shot and is a big body. DD, well like i said he was my exclsusion to my point. ALthough I wouldnt right him off, he is very capable of having a comeback season. Also has anyone been watching the Elelr kid!? the guy looked like a beast last season. Stripping pucks off opponents left right and center. taking the puck end to end with confidence and swag. Looked huge, and looked very strong. He needs some work on his accuracy and finish but his play making skills are there regardless. I can see this guy coming back this season with a vengeance. Way too excited :D Not to mention galchenyuck. The guy was on a roll at the end of the season. His gonna be getting more minutes and more oppurtunities on the powerplay. Man will he be fun to watch. Also with the briere acquisition our PP is looking mean. Briere pleks pacioretty Galchenyuck Eller bourque (these would be my lines) Subban Markov C'mon, that stacks up pretty well with most teams 1st and second units Hopefully price can play to his average potential and boys i think we are looking at a pretty fun season to watch! Cant wait for puck drop!

Man when i look at our depth on the first three lines, i dont think there are many teams with that much scoring on all three lines. Max Pacioretty Tomas Plekanec Brian Gionta Alex Galchenyuk Lars Eller Brendan Gallagher Rene Bourque David Desharnais Danny Briere All those players are very capable of putting up 20 goals (maybe not desharnais, but his more of a play maker). I dont know what all the fuss is about with some people thinking the habs arent a very good team. Those are three very solid and balanced scoring lines. I truely believe if Eller had not gone out in game one, in the series, that we would have went deeper into the playoffs, how much deeper im not so sure. But with the two gallys coming back with a season of experience, and hopefully a rejuvinated briere, i think we might be looking at a pretty solid season. Now lets just hope we pick up a descent d man at some point this off season :D
