    Very good point about Subbans salary - I was think the same when they were negotiating. If you consider the impact his cap hit will have after the 2 years extension, then it is obvious that MB shot himself in the foot by winning on the short term deal. Wasnt it obvious that he would be worth 5 years for 25m???

    Its not like those lists are public so what do we know? Everyone talks about players not wanting to go to MTL but noone knows anything except they heard about it from somewhere else. What athlete would not play for one of the greatest franchises, the most winning and in a city which is nice!? Seriosly, whats there to do in NJ, Philly and Pitsburg!? Come on kids lets go for a walk and watch some concrete!

    I couldn't agree more. The Habs were far from spanked by anyone. In fact they were winning the game until Philly got Philthy lucky! Complete coincidences on some of those pucks ending up in the net. Price would have stolen that game had it not been for Simmons and Subbans skates - lets not forget that!
