Pretty sure the Gionta injury is hand or wrist related. Late in game one he was on the bench sitting and conversing with another player. He looked at his hand/wrist and told whoever was sitting beside him "I cant even shoot". I know at that point he was still playing, but when I heard he was out for game two I remembered reading his lips and kinda wondered if there was an issue.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't something I believe, just saying it's out there on twitter. The confirmed source I have no idea but its apparently a Montreal source. Wouldn't buy into this too much.

See a confirmed source on twitter says Canadians have offered Gionta and 1st round pick to Sabres for Pominville. Wonder about the clause in Giontas contract.
