Someone mentioned earlier that according to CapGeek, Habs will have the cap space for the equivalent of a 6miliion dollar player come the trade deadline. So i wouldn't be too worried about that. It's true Prust did do good things with the Chucky, Gally line a couple of seasons ago. As Ron has mentioned though, I think he has lost a step. He season to date has not been great. I'm sure they will get a few more goes with this line, I obviously hope they flourish........but I just don't see him being a permanent solution. What are ppls thoughts on Prust playing with Eller and Sekac? Of course that line was the best of the game yesterday.....but I don't like the idea of the third line being Prusts home. He just isn't skilled enough in my eyes. The line might continue to do well, but I don't think it will have anything to do with Prust. Sekac is a beast out there, created almost everything last night. With Bourni out for a while, rather then calling up a fourth liner(Bowman) I'd much prefer to see someone like Andrighetto get the call to play on Eller's wing. Give him a chance, he might just surprise. We are looking for goals here, right? That way Prust can slot back to the 4th line, where he probably belongs. Maybe he is still bitter about the moment Pacioretty and Weise shared a few games ago after they scored......... "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza

Really, I disagree that everyone would be complaining if it was against the Habs. The puck was already passed Miller, Gally running into Miller had no effect whatsoever on outcome of that goal/ To me, that alone should merit it to be a good goal. Unless of course a penalty should have been called on Gallagher. "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza

24, in response to your goaltender interference call missed, I could be mistaken......but if the puck is already on its way into an open net when the goalie is interfered with.......I believe that it is considered a good goal. Miller was already sliding cross crease and Gally's bump had no influence on him missing that puck. Case in point, Game 1 against Boston in OT......PK blasted a shot from the point, puck was going in when Briere lightly hit Rask.....either way that puck was going in. Maybe I'm alone, but I truly believe it was a good non call. "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza

Eller just hasn't played well this year. IMO, I don't think I am the only one. Of course there are double standards....but 3rd and 4th liners are easier and can be more quickly benched then others. Also, I think Eller's penalty was blatently stupid. He went out of his way to finish the check in neutral zone, and through up his elbow. It was one game where the whole team was out of it......MT prob wanted to send a msg to whole team, and Eller was one of the guys who deserved it last night. I think that MT is just frustrated the way they have played the last two games. Even though they have a stellar record......I think he will start choosing people who aren't pulling their weight, and send a msg to them. Eller was the guy last night. Wouldn't shock me at all if both Bourni and Sekac get the call tomorrow, in place of one of Eller, Bourque, Moen. But they won.....at the end of the day, that's all that matters :) "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza
