I find it hard to understand why they would keep 3 goalies up. Are they still so unsure as to whether Toker can handle the role of backup? I think he proved last year that he can at least be as good as Budaj when called upon. This also means that one of the defenseman that probably would be in the press box will be sent down to Hamilton instead of one of the goalies. Maybe we can turn Budaj into a crazy shot blocking defenseman.......... :D "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza

That's really interesting. I can't begin to think who he will replace as centre though. DD or Eller I would have to think? Patch Galchenyuk Gally Sekac Pleks Parenteau Desharnais Eller Bourque Thoughts? Didn't DD play 3rd line winger when he first started with the team.....? Maybe the one day contract is a little overused.....but wouldn't it be great if the Habs could sign him to one so he retires with us. On opening night, they can have him skate onto the ice last or something....keep it a surprise from the fans. Gumper, it all depends on if you are in the Montreal region....so Anywhere in Canada East of Belleville. If you are, then you should be able to get every game on RDS and TVA sports. I am with Bell fibe, and in order to get both those channels, I just need to sign up for the French package which is an extra $15/month. If you are in the Montreal region, you can almost do without the French package, and should be able to watch the 40 National games(with everyone else in the country), and the 42 Regional games that will be shown on Sportsnet.(East, West, Ontario, 360, and Sportnet 1) If you are outside the Montreal region however, then you are probably better off getting Centre Ice. Hope this helps. "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza

I think this site gives us all a pretty good idea what regional area we are considered in. I live in Ottawa, when I put my postal code in....it tells me that I am in both the Ottawa and Montreal broadcasting regions. Hobie...you were saying earlier that you weren't sure if the Sportsnet regional would be the same as the RDS one, I believe that this answers your question.....that yes the Montreal and Ottawa regions are always considered the same, according to the NHL. He is a big boy alright. It would make it even sweeter, if he becomes a regular considering we got him from the Leafs! "I think I may have found a way for us to get Griffey and Bonds, and we really won't have to give up much" -Costanza

This is true...Pateryn is definately behind on their depth list. But I have a hunch he will come guns a blazing in training camp. He was the Bulldogs best defenseman last year....he knows it, MB knows it. It is up to him now to prove he deserves a regular roster spot with the Habs.....I still think he might do it. Great problem to have, with so many of the young guys fighting for 1 or 2 spots in the lineup. Markov PK Beaulieu Gilbert Emelin Pateryn If Beau and Pateryn both make it this year, this would be quite the impressive group to have on defense. The top 4 can all move the puck well. All 6 of them have their own offensive touch also. Pateryn showed last year that he has a nice shot.....someone who can contribute offensively. Emelin too, when given the opportunity has shown some offensive flair. I'm not too familiar with the fenwick/corsi stats, but I have a feeling ours would look pretty decent with these 6 on the back end.
