Here is an example (won't be a good example because I don't remember the specific opponents): Subban blindly fires a put behind his own net that bounces off the side of the net (maybe against Colorado) and right onto the stick of the opponent = goal. Subban sits for the rest of the third period and MT tears him a new one in the presser. Bouillon does the exact same thing and doesn't miss a shift. I wish I could remember the opponent to strengthen my point. How is that for self proclaimed meritocracy. Eller continuing his great play from the previous season forms part of the EGG line, which is off to a great start to the season and is essentially dismantled to benefit the struggling DD and Max. Gallagher does go on to spark that line but to no benefit to him. There are a couple of examples there. The coach is perplexing. A lot of things he does are way too conservative. If this team makes it to the conference finals then maybe I will change my tune on this guy.

Mr Habby: I do believe that he HAS made some pretty good moves. Some questionable moves as well. I'm in no rush to see MB ousted, yet. He isn't perfect though.

Just the way I view it Cal. I still cheer the Habs on, and watch as many games as possible. I really believe that this team could be better with the players and options that they already have... I don't like MT, regardless of the success that the team has had. My distain for MT stems from his self proclaimed "meritocracy" that is laughable at best and the way he treats the young guys, regardless of their talent level.

PK is a great player that can create opportunities. Don't get me wrong, at times he is sloppy in his own end and at times he would get caught up the ice. Let's be honest though, PK is a stud that has been neutered and that is of zero benefit to the team. I can't believe that people rip on this guy cause of his passion and eagerness to help his team win.

Carey Price is half the battle. Without him, MT would be looking for another job.

I'm not quite sure where I stand with MB. He has made some great moves and he has made some questionable moves. No GM is perfect. I think that he/MT is gambling with PK way too much and I think that the Habs are going to get burned for it.

I used the word "seriously" to make it clear that my comment was not a sarcastic comment.

I'm not quite sure why our management treats our young guys like they are third-rate players.

I really believe that it is no coincidence that Subban, Eller, Tinordi, basically any player set to go from an entry level contract to a potential pay-day struggles under this management. I seriously believe that management/coaching is managing future costs with present environment/ice time. Nathan McKinnon would be playing 8 mins a game in this line-up.

Agreed. I don't understand how this guy only got 6 mins of ice time in Chicago and gets no pp time. Last night it would have been nice to see Briere on the first wave and with the way Bourque was playing I think it would have been appropriate to award him with some pp time as well. Send him a positve message for once.
