When Drewskie arrived McGuire says " Drewskie will be another Gorges. You'll love him in Montreal". Another reason he isn't a GM in the NHL and thank God not the GM of the habs I remember lemaire to lafleur who beats Cheevers far side. What a moment in time. and cherry's face to boot

it's a great day. he's 35 for God's sake. Let's move on. He'll be on L'Antichambre and nobody will care. He's a nice guy but what the hay, so is Gomez. Nice guys win you squat. Mb offered, he said no, the talking heads have nothing to complain about. Yeah right, as if Tampa Bay will take him I remember lemaire to lafleur who beats Cheevers far side. You are correct that the game has changed and that is why I included Modano (1 cup in 20 years), Thornton ( 0 cups), Malkin & Stall ( 1 cup between them). These are modern day players. Big ain't better. Not trying to argue just sayin'. Ryan Murray sure looks good to me and we can move someone to get a big body if need be. If the centres that are out there in the top 5 are gonna make a difference, for sure Bergevin should call out there name. NOT just because they are centres but because they are the best player available. Waddya think? I remember lemaire to lafleur who beats Cheevers far side. What a moment in time

The Habs HAVE to draft a big centre and not the best player available and the proof follows. Without these big centres their teams would NEVER have won a cup. Not the main reason their teams won the cup but sure had a part in it. Man these guys were huge!!! Toe Blake Dickie Moore Henri Richard Jacques Lemaire Doug Jarvis (bst face-off man and penalty killer of his time)\ Guy Carbonneau (see above. puck possesion is pretty important) Esposito (big but do you think Orr had anything to do with it?) Bobby Clarke (big stick not big stature) Brian Trottier (only 6' 190 lbs you can look it up) Gretzky (yeah he was a mammoth) Messier (big heart not big height) Datzyk (my spelling sucks) Elias Joe Thornton (how many cups???) Malkin & Stall (even with the other guys, what's his name again, one cup) Modano (good size, 20 years, one cup) Yeah, I guess it's important that the Habs draft a BIG centre. Got to have one to win the cup

Waddya think? To Columbus Pleks, Habs first pick in 2012 and Gomez Columbus gets a 1st line centre, back to back picks to begin their rebuild and a player with experience to help the kids and like him or not, atleast a third line centre To Montreal Nash and Columbus' first pick in 2013 Habs get the left wing they so desperatley need, a shot at a lottery pick when you know who will be the first overall, plus free up some cash to sign Price, P.K. and Emelin
