  I hear you. I too played AAA in Ontario and am lucky to still be capable of playing. Being an ex-Royal (and thus superior to any prickly ;) ) my kids have seen more than they should too. Thankfully my youngest is only starting so there is time yet for him to be bitten by the hockey bug. Let's not forget that litterally only one in a million play pro and the rest end up as rec hockey beer leaguers just playing for fun, so why should we ruin it? I've been helping friends here in NS try for the no hit house league. No traction yet. But I can see it coming thanks to the education on concussions. PRO PATRIA I love Barry Manilow . -Scotty Bowman

  Shane, I haven't enjoyed hockey as much as now....playing NO CONTACT. As a kid, I was too focused on it, now as an adult I just go out and have fun. I have 3 kids and would love for them to experience it that way too. If they were good/motivated enough they could move up, but no contact in houselegues just MAKES SENSE!
