Every reporter (I think) has a certain story they are trying to tell, but watching the raw interview footage in sports is very interesting. You can really tell, based on the questions they ask, what story they are going to tell, and they are just fishing for the right sound bite that they can take out of context. I'm generalizing, and I know that some reporters are better than others (obviously, since I'm here), but it happens very often. - Comment on Penguins move into first place with win over Bruins

You can read some really crazy trade suggestions on this site, but that is really one-sided! If Bergevin pulled that off, I say we auto-induct him into the Canadiens Hall of Fame! - Comment on Liveblog: Canadiens edge Devils for fifth in a row, move back into first

They all sound like sport reporters. I think there's a generic TV sports guy voice. - Comment on Tinordi excited about making his NHL debut
It's always interesting to see those kinds of lists, and I think it underscores the uncertainty of prospects, let alone draft picks. Sometimes, you read comments on this or other forums, and you get a sense that the only goal for a GM should be to stock up draft picks. There is obviously value to filling the pipeline, and some GMs are too cavalier about trading away that future, but some fans seem to think that first round draft picks are the end goal, and keep talking about trading away players for picks. Sometimes, a decent current NHLer is more important than a future unknown crapshoot.
