  That was a god-awful trade. It put a Dr on our bench - but still terribly one sided.

  So the team that hammered the Habs was hammered by a team that is currently being hammered. Hopefully (and god I hope) that team goes on and gets absolutely hammered by Chicago or LA in the final. Definitely no 2011 'we took the eventual Stanley Cup champs to 7th game overtime' illusions this year.

  I agree with this completely. Those longs putters have angered me for years - especially when used for a 2 club length relief rule. What about unintentional anchoring where your gut hangs over and hits the end of a regular putter?

  My first thought is 'this is really going to hurt Canada's world ranking' Quickly followed by 'I never have cared for the IIHF, their rankings or tournament for that matter' Still more upset about the Habs departure from the play-offs

  Pleks is a great commodity right now - meaning a good return less the service he brings. I like Pleks but would be curious what he would fetch in a trade.
