"Marian Gaborik’s cap hit is $7.5 million. He’s on the Rangers’ fourth line." He was on the 4th line for the first shift only. Come on, guys. No need to OVER-dramatize like the "Journal" does.

Did whoever's running The Gazette promise Christmas bonuses to everyone who'd help him push Carbonneau as the next Habs coach? Am I the only one who remembers how badly things went for Guy last time he was here? He wasn't communicating with the players. He told the media the players know where to find him if they have questions. The players said they went to him regularly, but he never had anything to say so they just gave up communicating with him. And after hitting a rough patch, Carbonneau told the media he was at a loss about how to turn the team around. He literally admitted he had no idea what else he could do to get back on the winning road. That's all Gainey needed to hear to fire him. His firing wasn't unjust. It wasn't a crime. It was earned through stubbornness and lack of creativity. And how many other teams have rushed to hire Carbo since that disaster? None. Not even Dallas wanted him. Meanwhile, Carbo tells the world he's too good for the minors. The same minors Muller and Cunneyworth agreed to go to. And where are those two coaching today? Eventually, Carbo did reluctantly agree to coach his Saguenéens for a few games... and he lost most of them. Now we know why he didn't want to go to the minors. He had a winning record in Montreal, because Gainey set the table for him. He wants to ride that record to another multi-million dollar contract before anyone realizes he really doesn't know what he's doing. Honestly. Does ANYTHING about Carbo give anyone the impression that he knows what he's doing?
