Well that's good and that's how you should feel about men who commit domestic violence

haha, same for my Japanese girlfriend. She knows next to nothing about hockey, but she knows and loves PK. And the way she says Subban with her heavy Japanese accent is so cute.

"both goals by Neal were scored while he was on his pads. Stand up G-dammit it!" Come on Oldschool, you don't know much about goaltending if you blaming Price for being down on his pads for Neal's goals. The first shot was a great one-timer from pretty close, and moving laterally to stop that, modern goaltending 101 dictates you'll go down to block the bottom part of the net. And the second one, come on man, great play by Malkin, the pass to Neal was perfect. Neal got the puck a few feet in front of the net, leaving Price little time to react. I tell you, there's not a single goalie in the league who would have been left standing on that play.

No, that's not it, he didn't rip into Price. If you listen to the speech, he was talking to the whole team said something like "you guys have to play more like a team, you can't look at Price and say things like 'Price stop the fucking puck'". It was a "speech prop", not an actual criticism for Price

look at Mark Stall, he's also wearing a dark visor since his terrible eye injury last year. I think I heard it had something to do with reducing bright light or something. It would make sense in his case.

it is eerily similar to a goal Martin Brodeur had let in a few years ago in the playoffs...so strange http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk8qCi6ns4k It's number 2 in the top 10

Cher Adidess, je ne pourrais etre davantage d'accord avec vous. Je ne m'attendais vraiment pas a ce qu'on recycle un ancien entraineur.

Ah come on Dulljerk! What do you want the team to do? To win all its remaining games and still miss the playoffs and have a lower draft pick? We want this team to tank because WE CARE about this team. We're tired of being a middle-to-bottom-of-the-pack team, and we realize that the best way to go back to the top is to start with a high draft pick. "Loser talk all around on this site". What do you want us to do??? "Go Habs Go", "you're the best, you can do it Habs"?? Wouldn't that sound a little hollow considering the season we've had?

How is it that believing that speaking English, having anglo friends, and having travelled shows I'm not close-minded make me "incredibly close-minded"? I'm still trying to understand that assertion. And no, although it does have problems (corruption, for instance), Québec is NOT miserable compared to other Canadian provinces other than the Western provinces, especially Alberta. On its own, Québec would be more than able to thrive. Thinking it could not calls YOUR judgement in question. Subban better be back next game. Bonne soirée mon ami

I've been a longtime fan of HIO, and I always enjoyed reading the blogs and comments, but I have NEVER, EVER seen as much French/Québec-bashing as tonight! One HAS to hope that it has to do the Habs' horrendous play getting on everyone's nerves. People don't seem to understand that the type of attitude that's being openly displayed in the comments tonight is a GOOD PART of the reason about 40% of us (which I'm a part of) want to separate. And I especially hate when people equate being a sovereignist with close-mindedness. I speak English as well as I speak French, have plenty of English-speaking friends, have travelled all over the world, and I'd still vote "yes" in a referendum. Do I sound close-minded to you? And I have plenty of Québécois friends like me. Now I AM NOT part of the crowd raging about Cunneyworth's appointment as head coach because I understand he was named the interim coach. However, anyone who doesn't understand why it's important to us to have a permanent (i.e. not interim) coach who is bilingual, considering how sensitive language is here and how hard it is to defend French in North America, has absolutely no understanding of Québec. The bottom line is, I just wish our team was better. This is getting sadder by the day.
