- Comment on Patrick Roy to coach Avalanche: report (2013-05-21 13:14:39)
Yeah there was, and there was to be no supplemental discipline due to there not being enough proof that he actually bit him.

Do you guys think there will be any sanctions to Grabovsky now that he admitted in an interview that he really did bite Pacioretty, and must have lied in his NHL hearing to get the "not enough evidence" result?
- Comment on Therrien tinkers with lines; no NHL discipline for Leafs’ Grabovski (2013-02-12 10:22:34)
"there was not sufficient evidence to support imposing Supplemental Discipline"... Wow, this means that Grabovski straight up lied to the league in his disciplinary hearing. "no I didn't bite him, patches is lying! He got a tetanus shot just to screw with me."

A new day dawns. Edit: Figuratively... it's 1:40 in the afternoon, afterall.

So is this what next year is going to look like? Pacioretty, Desharnais, Cole Leblanc, Plekanec, Gionta Darche, Eller, (Moen/Bourque) Blunden, White, Staubitz Subban, Gorges Emelin, Markov Diaz, Kaberle (shudder...) Price Edit: Budaj It's a bit "meh" isn't it?

So what I think I'm hearing from you is: A definite maybe... How about Moen instead of Semin, and Shae Weber (RFA) instead of Yanik Weber?

Yeah, got most of my stats from Capgeek. It goes like this: Cole: 4.5 Pacioretty: 1.625 Desharnais: 0.85 Eller: 2 (up from 1.27) Leblanc: 1.17 Plekanec: 5 Kostitsyn: 3 (down from 3.25 - he said he'd take a pay cut) Ryan White: 1 (up from 0.625) Rene Bourque: 3.33 Parise: 7 (up from 6.2) Semin: 7 (up from 6.7) - This is unrealistic... keep moen? Brian Gionta: 5 Subban: 2 (up from 0.875) Gorges: 3.9 Emelin: 2 (up from 0.984) Markov: 5.75 Diaz: 1.5 (up from 0.9) Weber: 1.5 (up from 0.85) - We should replace him, prob. Price: 4 (up from 2.75) - maybe 5 makes more sense, but we have that cash anyways. Budaj: 1.15 So with both semin and parise, its 1mill under cap. With moen instead of semin, it's 6.5 under - to replace Weber for a defenceman worth 8 or less. As for Gomez, Kaberle, and the other current team members that go unmentioned - obviously the hope is to trade them off for draft picks. But if that can't happen, demotions over buyouts... they're demeaning but sometimes necessary.

That WOULD save us about 7 million, and Semin was definitely the less likely out of Parise and him to come over... Also, it makes the 4th line more of an energy line, which is nice. You can get a pretty decent defenceman for 7 million! I accept!

I think I've given up on this season... So I've started looking at next season possibilities. The best I have come up with is this (with a cool 1 mill cap space left after the necessary RFA/UFA salary hikes): Semin, Plekanec, Parise Cole, Desharnais, Pacioretty Gionta, Eller, Kostitsyn Bourque, Leblanc, White Subban, Gorges Emelin, Markov Diaz, Weber Price Budaj Get it done, Molson! PS - Of course, Gomez's contract would have to be bought out...

Man, I love Emelin's hits!
