AK is on the top line because that line is a high skill and vision line, they compliment each other well. also in the pre season games where montreals "nhl" line consisted of kost and DD they were a big minus. so its not really a promotion rather then finding the right combination, remember JM wants 3 scoring lines. and markov looks hurt!!
