Gomez should pay for every #11 sweater with his name on it to be switched to Gallagher.

He seemed pretty pissed in the 3rd on Saturday, as he should be. That was a huge hit he laid on Holzer I think it was. Maybe he will start to get going now.

Hello all, I've only posted two or three times, I check the site pretty much every day though. I was looking at some of Cole's past numbers. Last year, through 11 games, the guy went 2g, 2a, -4, playing about 15 mins. He then went on to score nearly a point per game through the next 3 months, steadily increasing his ice time. The year before that he had only 11 points in the first 36 games, playing about 17 minutes, following a season where he was plagued by injuries. He then went nearly a point per game for the rest of the season. This year he has 2g, 2a, +/- 0, and is playing about 15 minutes. Some people think he has lost interest, or has no desire. I'm thinking it just takes him a while to get his legs going. Although, hopefully it doesn't take him 36 games. Just being optimistic. I also think pairing him with Eller would be beneficial for both players.

Well, Luongo would thrive in Toronto considering he wouldn't have to worry about stealing wins in the playoffs. There are three things certain in life: death, taxes, and that the leafs suck

When Markov is healthy, he is the Habs' anchor on d. He'll have 5 months or so to train for this season. He hasn't had that luxury for a while. He's a minute muncher and knows how to take care of his zone. He isn't the number 1 anymore, and he should be a good mentor and complement to Emelin. Emelin is a wild card for me. If he comes to camp in great shape, I expect he'll have a solid season. His plus/minus should improve this season. I'd take PK over Gardiner any day. He should have his struggles this season, not unlike PK this past year. I feel the same way about Phaneuf. He can't skate backwards. He's not great skating forward come to think of it. Gorges is a solid complement to PK, and I think those two will have a great year this year. I gave TO the edge because of that third pairing. Like anybody else on here I would love to see two big boys on the third pair. I wouldn't be upset if MB could land an unhappy Franson on the cheap. It certainly is the perfect quote. Anybody who loves Seinfeld is alright with me. There are three things certain in life: death, taxes, and that the leafs suck

Hello All, This is my first post. I've been reading for a while now, and I thought this would be a good one to jump in on. As far as matching up goes, I feel the Habs are stronger, if only because all four lines are responsible defensively. The Habs have a better goaltender, better quality depth at centre, and more character throughout the lineup. I would give the edge on d to Toronto, but I expect my opinion on that will change around December. So, as I feel Montreal is better in 2 of the 3 crucial positions, I'd say Montreal is a better team. Though, maybe I should point out that since I grew up a Habs fan in the GTA, I really, really hate all that is "Leafs Nation". BTW your signature is awesome.
