It's called stats. He needs to score goals to earn a new contract. I'd rather take SK over half the guys on our team now. - Comment on Gorges signs six-year contract
Only in Montreal would Georges get this much money. If he didn't play here, nobody would even know who he is. I'd rather have fedor tyutin who makes in the $2 M range. The reason why the Habs suck is B/c they have to play guys like Georges 20 minutes. Heart and soul are over rated. You need raw talent to win a cup - Comment on Audio: Blueline swap brings Kaberle in deal for Spacek
haha. If that was Toronto who acquired Kaberle they’s be saying it’s a great deal. Funny how less than 6 months ago, it was All day Kaberle watch on TSN, now it’s not even news worthy. I can’t wait for Dreggers next report on Brian Burke’s bowel movements. My favorite was Pierre Mcguire’s “expert” Analysis. What a loser - Comment on Audio: Blueline swap brings Kaberle in deal for Spacek
I don't thing this trade has anything to do with Markov's injury. Kaberle makes $4.25, Spacek 3.8. Take the cap savings from Markov's injury and apply it to Kaberle's contract this year and it all works out. Next year Campolli and Gill come off the books so overall the salaries balance out. - Comment on Audio: Blueline swap brings Kaberle in deal for Spacek
Your argument doesn't make any sense. You say all they care about is the bottom line... They just added salary. - Comment on Liveblog: Shootout loss
yes because teams are lining up to to trade for a defencemen who hasn't played a single after major surgery and who overall hasn't played much in 3 seasons..... - Comment on Liveblog: Shootout loss
@habs03: no offense but uou sound like the typical habs fan who only watches the Canadiens and thinks every player on team is an all-star. Plekanec is barely a plus player in his career, whereas Kreji is a plus 35 something... Kreji plays against the number 1 units almost as much as Bergeron. Also he has to be more offensive b/c he's playing with 2 guys who have to play offensive and not worry about coming back.... SeriousFan09: Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kreji was the leading point getter for the Bruins last year. Who cares if he was out-scored by Plekanec in 1 round....
