If Trevor Timmins was ever fired by the Canadiens, all other 29 teams would be fighting over eachother to get him. He is recognized as the best in the biz. His success rate of drafting NHL players is unbelievable. Bergevin used to do Timmins' job. And he knows full well that Timmins is the best. The NHL is littered with Timmins draft picks on all teams.

RIGA.............your comments are complete nonsense. Any perceived anti Canada bias is complete BS. Jenner's hit was not only illegal, but he is a repeat offender too. He was kicked out of last years tournament as well. To throw a hit like that in an exhibition game was unnecessary. Canada IS the wjc. Without Canada there is no juniors. The IIHF knows this. BTW, Sweden's best player, Zibenajad, is not allowed to play in the tourny because Canadiens (the Senators) won't let him. One of USA's top players, Noesen, was suspended by the CHL with the suspension suspiciously lasting until the end of the tournament.

LET THE FANS DECIDE! Since it's OUR money they're fighting over, let the fans decide the next CBA. Seriously, get a third party to arbitrate a deal. If there is no season, then there is no money. So what are the fighting over?

It's not his fault. Someone needs to tell Max that Montrealers don't wear Blue Jays caps.

You're right there is work to do. But you need to put things in perspective. The Crunch are one of the top teams in the AHL. They are one of the favorites to win the Calder. Most of the Bulldogs roster was playing junior last year. The Dogs have had good and bad games so far this season, but the season has just started.

Tinordi's best game of the season. He was handling the puck and making plays. What a pass to St Denis for the first goal. The Bulldogs need serious work on the PP. It is by far the weakest part of their game. There are no high end offensive players on the team, so they need to create plays for the PP. Everybody should check out the highlights of Gally's 4 pts. Both goals and both assists were beautiful. Worth watching.

Bulldogs best game of the season last night. Lost 5-4 in OT. The new top line of three rookies Bournival, Gallagher, Holland was very impressive. They were buzzing around the Marlies zone all game. Brendan Gallagher was arguably the Bulldogs best player last night. Scoring his first pro goal, he seemed to be involved on every shift. Like a bulldog, this kid loves to get his nose dirty, and has skill to compliment the tenacity. He set up teammates, had scoring chances, drove the net, and was a general pest all night. Holland continues to surprise. I didn't expect him to be such a prominent player in his first year with the Bulldogs. He is more of a passer than a goal scorer, has good hands, and doesn't seem to be afraid of contact. He played the point on the PP which led to a Bulldogs goal. Quailer had a good game. He used his size and skill well, protecting the puck, good on the forecheck. Another rookie who will continue to improve. Ellis looked good for a player in his second game, and missed training camp due to injury. I think that he will move up the depth chart quickly. Beaulieu didn't have a good game. He needs to keep things simple. He had a lot of opportunities on the PP, but tried to do too much. Could have made a difference in the game. One PP in particular he was on ice for the entire 2 minutes. Defensively he made a lot of costly errors. The bulldogs almost lost the game in regulation because of his mistakes he made with seconds left. Last night was the Bulldogs best game and it was the rookies who led the way. Palushaj, Blunden, Geoffrion have been surpassed by Bournival, Gallagher, Holland, and Quailer. Only 5 games into the season, the rookies are going to continue to get even better.

That's good news. I was worried about Collberg's development. Apparently a couple of games he was dressed but didn't play a single shift.
