MB wanted Cody Franson last summer, we should trade for him at the deadline -- the Leafs will be in sell mode, he's a RH shot who plays a physical game. Gilbert, while Price's buddy, is super soft and isn't being used on the PP (Subban, Markov, Gonch, N8 are ahead of him there). MB should get Franson, and ship Gilbert to Detroit, who is looking for a RH D.

Sunday daydreaming: DD and a mid-level prospect (de la Rose or Reway?) for Troy Brouwer Max-Chucky-Gally Sekac-Pleks-Brouwer Prust-Eller-PAP Bournival-Manny-Weise

Good on Price -- he's been carrying the team all season. If it wasn't for him keeping the Habs in the game, especially in the first period, it would be a much different year.

Tinordi should not be engaging in staged fights -- he is too valuable to be fighting without cause.

Which assistant coach is in charge of the PP? Habs should use a diamond, with snipers on each circle. First wave, Markov at the top, Subban (RH) on the left circle and Pacioretty (LH) on the right circle, Gally in front of the net, Chucky supporting around the goal line. For the second wave, Subban rotates to the top for Markov, Sekac for Pacioretty, PAP where Subban was, Pleks for Chucky, and DD in the crease

If the Habs are going to make a trade with TO, they should finally get Cody Franson, a right shot who can play the PP, has size, and is physical. Gilbert (who has been better, but is still soft and doesn't do anything on the PP) and another piece can go back.

On a lighter note, here is the Caps' coach having a 40 https://twitter.com/TedStarkey/status/552633087495270400

PK was horrible tonight, no the loss wasn't his fault, but he played an extremely poor game. Some examples: - he took his first penalty after getting beat behind the net - he slashes a TB player from his own bench, a completely ineffectual way to get back at someone for hitting Markov, and counterproductive because TB scored on the ensuing PP; to make matters worse, PK didn't do anything "on the ice" to avenge that hit; more has to be expected of an "A" captain than such stupid behavior - he was the LAST Habs player back on TB's third goal. It's one thing for a defenseman to be the third or fourth guy back, but last? That is unacceptable - he had most giveways on all Habs - his body language is not good when he makes a mistake; if you make a mistake, hustle back, skate harder, don't sulk and saunter back Aside from PK, we have no killer instinct, we continue to get out-shot in almost every game, and we have no grit to change momentum. The team has played extremely well overall, though these issues may haunt us later in the season.

If PAP can't go, 'Ghetto should be moved up, Manny can center MB and Weise
