I'd say that, given the style of hockey that he plays, this is not his first run-in. Guys like Emelin seem to feed off of that kind of stuff.

Montreal has a few good pieces in place, but it is pretty clear that this is not their year. PK is going to be great, but his sophmore slump is amplified by the lack of Markov or another elite defensemen. I agree with Flowers sentiment and the opinion of many people on this site; Clear the roster for draft picks and hold on to the young talent. Lots of positives this year, but it's time to look at the gaps that need to be filled in the future.
