You know he is a perimeter player, it will never happen. Trade him while we can for something like dustin brown!! _________________________________________________________ “We know that hockey is where we live, where we can best meet and overcome pain and wrong and death. Dream on, series is as good as over. Habs win one more, but over in 6. As many on here are saying, the word is out on them...run them early and often, soften up an already soft defence, and get them afraid of being hit. they are already a perimeter team, so make them more afraid. They proved tonight they can't match ottawa in fighting, so game over. _________________________________________________________ “We know that hockey is where we live, where we can best meet and overcome pain and wrong and death. I agree with everything you said Laf, and I've been saying Markov is not good for a while. Trade him while we can get somethin for him. Everyone on here seems to thinks he is worth a first rounder, good, lets get one for him. Same with Patches...perimiter player. I'm sick of him streaking down the left side and firing a wrist shot at the goalie that hits him in the chest. Same play everytime!! If he had half the heart Gally has he would be a superstar, but he is the personification of what too many Habs forwards are...weak perimeter players. _________________________________________________________ “We know that hockey is where we live, where we can best meet and overcome pain and wrong and death. Fair enough, he has value. But he has been our worst defenceman for the past month or more, especially since Emelin has gone down. _________________________________________________________ “We know that hockey is where we live, where we can best meet and overcome pain and wrong and death. Here is something I've been thinking about today. I know the general concensus around here is that Kaberle will be bought out in the off season. I was in full agreement with that until recently. Here is some food for thought: instaed of Kaberle, why not buy out...Markov. Seriously. Let me explain. Markov's game has not been good recently, I think we can all agree to that. He has not lost just one step n his skating, but I would say closer to two steps. He is now a defensive liabillity, and while he is still strong on the power play, his play during 5 on 5 is weak. Markov and Kaberle are now the sae player. Ok, Markov is the smarter player, but Kaberle can skate circles around Markov now, and h is a much cheaper cap hit (4.25 mil vs 5.7 mil). Kaberle can run a power play, and he is as big a defensive liablity as Markov, so why not keep the cheaper better skting player? _________________________________________________________ “We know that hockey is where we live, where we can best meet and overcome pain and wrong and death.
