Comment on The final game of 2010-'11
1. Folks, Price was outstanding in this series. Without the superhuman saves he made in the third period, Subban's goal would have been meaningless. A great goalie does not stop everything -- a great goalie stops everything he should, plus a bunch that nobody has a right to expect him to stop. That's Price, especially in this series. He is NOT the problem with this team. Clearly, there are other deficiencies -- too many defensemen that can't skate (chalk that up to injuries), long stretches with terrible passing out of the defensive zone (this means you, AK, but you're not alone), etc. 2. I'm most of you probably caught wind of this already, but in case you hadn't, here's a link to NESN's Jack Edwards giving his incoherent, virulently anti-Habs post-game rant.
