  Let's trade Price for a goalie who can score goals? (head shaking). Erik Cole playing way outside his potential and being an abject failure? Absolutely brilliant! Now pass me the bong!

  If the cupboards were stacked, who stole the dishes. It really comes down to what success means to each of us. IF you're a Leaf's fan, reaching the playoffs is like a Stanley Cup victory. For many of us older Hab's fans... Anything less than winning a Stanley Cup was considered a failure. That mindset made this organization the best. I think Sam Pollock would agree with me on that. God rest his soul.

  For some of us, success means winning the Stanley Cup. How many did Bob win here in Montreal? Nothing! He may as well been working in Toronto.

  Success to some of us means winning The Stanley Cup. And we ain't won NOTHING in almost 20 years. That tells me somebody isn't doing their job. Bob didn't win any cups here. He might as well been working for the Leafs....

  Bob Gainey is a GREAT person! He was a good player! He was NOT a good manager here in Montreal. One only needs to examine the trades that he made, and more importantly, the results of those transactions. Gauthier simply followed along in his footsteps, with even worse results. (just my opinion)
