  I have been hating cbc broadcasts the last few years but you do make some good points about last night. It was an improvement over last years. The opening montage was excellent. However I find tsn is miles ahead in terms of presentation and analysis. I find cbc telecasts (for lack of a better way to express this) dumbed down for kids and families. What else can you say about bob cole? "time to retire." Cherry too. Beat it. First tsn took the theme song and its only a matter of time before they take the stanley cup series as well. Time for a new generation of Canadian hockey broadcasting, I say.
