Thanks. Interesting that LeBlanc is not on it. I wonder what the future holds for him.

Any indication of the Habs forming a "taxi" squad of guys from Hamilton, and if so, who will be on it?

Good points. At the end of the day, even if we do get blasted in the playoffs it has been a remarkabe turnaround year for the organization. Gallagher and Galchenyuk alone are going to be very good for a very long time. PK has gone from a question mark to Norris frontrunner. Salary cap problems have or will be thrown overboard. We still have work to do, but not as much work as needed to be done 1 year ago and because of that I am trying to be optimistic. Plus, you never know what is going to happen in the playoffs, good or bad, so the final chapter of this year's team still has not been written.

To quote CP: Everyone needs to chill out. If we had been told on January 18th that by April 18th that we would have clinched a playoff spot but would also have been going through our first 3 game losing streak of the season, WE WOULD HAVE GLADLY ACCEPTED THAT. THis is a rebuilding year. Despite that, as a bonus, we have a team going to the playoffs and is capable to doing damgage. As of now we have 3 of the first 36 picks in this year's draft, good prospects in the system, and a good management team. I think that the most overrated comment among pundits is that they always award the cup to the team that has played the best for the last 10 games of the season. I like it when a team struggles a bit in those 10 games as it avoid complacency, forces it to address bad habits, and saves momentum for the playoffs. We are ok. Give the guys a chance to play their way out of this.

I agree completely. Speaking of stars-turned-into-broadcasters who are not employed by CBC, I like Denis Potvin on the Ottawa broadcasts. I can't understand why HNIC doesn't try to add someone like him to their broadcasts. Elliotte Friedman is very good, but he must really wonders sometimes at the quality of the commentators around him. That whole Cherry/Fraser/Orr/Kadri snugglefest was just bizarre.

Not trying to jinx PK, but given where he is in scoring for our team there is a realistic chance that he could end up leading the team by the end of the year. It may have been covered already on HIO, but does anyone know the last D-man (not named Orr) who led his team in scoring? Thanks.
