Hopefully Subban thinks the same way when his contract offers come along, no loyalty or passion for any club/city . Only thing that really matters is the $$. Go for the biggest payday!

Going to play for Boston is like walking into Mordor. Young normal men when they arrive, they quickly turn evil and the usual physical transformation ensues, hook nose, hunch back, caveman brow, ect.

Gotta feel sorry for the young guys, stuck playing in MTL ,hopefully they manage to get traded or something. Wasted talent. What we saw in the last month, how they played, that's reality. Get ready for much more of this next season. Glass half full? Right! There's NO glass, only a water ring on a 3 legged table...

Price is like the Olympic Stadium in the 80's & 90's, so much was invested into him that there's no backing up now! It will take another couple of years before people fully accept this, his stats are at best average, he steals little to no games, and his "relaxed & calm" attitude does not match well with his mediocre play. Sens did everything perfect, injured one of our best forwards and exposed Price. Cant believe i actually felt bad for Karlsson and the Sens when that P.O.S. Cooke nearly cut his leg off. I guess empathy and hockey should not mix... I cant see any positive and why tonight will be any different. Most importantly , hope for a quick speedy healthy recovery for Lars Eller.

I think it's one last "middle finger" to all Habs fan! He knows how much people dislike him and his ridiculous contract , so he wants to make sure we do not get that much needed high draft pick. + he shows that he can still play, but just could not be bothered making a real effort since hes here.

Playing in MTL is only a source of inspiration to other teams, this is where rookies come to score their first goal, goalies come to get that shutout and teams come to break that loosing streak. Our team gets 0 inspiration from playing in front of sellout crowds, the management and owner just see the big $$$ rolling in game after game, so why bother really? This club is just like MCDonalds, serving crap to people who keep coming back for more. Change will only come around when the money stops flowing in, until then the whole organization is just gonna ride that big fat gravy train. Gone is the passion I'm afraid... 3-0 down and guys are just joking around on the bench, smiling and making jokes. No fire in their eyes that's for sure. SAD.

Congratz to Halak for another shutout ! And to Gomez for his 1 year anniversary, keep it up you still got another couple of years to redeem yourself, so take all the time you need.

Either Price shows up or forwards do, almost looks like they flip a coin before each game... Must have been quite a good atmosphere in the locker room after this one. Pathetic.
  • Comment on Are Canadiens fans losing faith? (2012-01-20 08:09:33)
Good the fans are staying away, it's not fair the Habs organization should keep making mega-profits while giving so little in return. Almost 20 years of mediocrity and so little change in management and team philosophy. When the money stops pouring in, companies start making REAL change.

It's games like these that reminds you never to sign a goalie to long term/expensive contract. I hope they sign Price for 4-5 year MAX, at no more then 4.5/5 million a year.
