Hey I'm no Don Cherry fan either, and I do believe he's a bigot. But as a Habs fan since 72, you must have realized that WE as fans, boo just about every other team's best player on the ice for no apparent reason. We booed Chara (pre-Pacioretty incident) We booed Heatley We booed Crosby (and we're his favourite team) can't think of them all now, but we boo mercilessly as a collective. Point is PK is BEST! And people boo good players on opposing teams. They do it, we do it even louder! Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I don't usually disagree with you but I believe you're way off here, particularly for his 1st period play. Luckily ending at a +1, Wiz could have easily been in the minus column. Midway through the 1st, before we scored, Wizniewski had a couple of awful passes that led to turnovers in our own zone. Fortunately, Price was there to save his bacon. I wasn't watching him as closely in the latter periods, but considering the situation we were in by the time the puck dropped, I'd say the Wiz had a poor start.
