I don't think "OK" is appropriate here. The driver should not be at fault if you are moronic enough to haphazardly step into traffic. That's what signals and crosswalks are for. Boston - the land of Jaywalkers. Head down = crushing hit. Head in the clouds = crushing hit. Born and Bred in Enemy Territory (Boston). - Comment on Over to you, Shanny
Should the league go back to a toe in the crease during a goal makes it a no-goal? It seemed a few years back when that was the rule fewer players even set foot in the paint. Every game it seems goalies are getting abused post-cover up of the puck. Although, it has really no bearing on this Lucic/Miller/Tootoo discussion I just thought it was interesting to note. Too true, Gill is a nightmare at even strength, surprisingly he is lights out at 5-3. How weird is that? We played better with St. Denis in his place. Born and Bred in Enemy Territory (Boston). - Comment on Pacioretty suspended three games
As an American, I gotta tell you it looks anti-Canadian to me. Born and Bred in Enemy Territory (Boston). - Comment on Pacioretty suspended three games
As one of the idiots, I'll tell you what everyone is really pissed about, the lack of consistency and the duration of the suspension as he is a first timer. It appears to us "idiots" that things are decidedly skewed against this team. Born and Bred in Enemy Territory (Boston). - Comment on Pacioretty word seems likely early evening ET
What a bunch of bullshit. Next time check their goalie, we know that's ok. Born and Bred in Enemy Territory (Boston). - Comment on Multimedia from Monday practice
Letang, looked right at him coming, is that still considered the blindside? He knew he either 1) had to take a hit to make the play, 2) didn't think he was going to get hit if he was shooting or 3) didn't think Max would hit him at all. It is all very complicated and I'm sure one way or the other, Shanahan, will be vilified by someone or some faction, if you will. But I agree if he is suspended it will look bad for several reasons and we all know them. Born and Bred in Enemy Territory (Boston).
