Comment on Recchi speaks recklessly
Two hours after I woke up from an appendectomy I asked the nurse at the Royal Vic to unplug me from the machines for a couple hours so that I could go with my friends to the movies. I walked very slowly but it HAD to be done-I hated being tied up in the hospital room. Three days later I was visiting the sights of Ottawa with my grandmother. Both times I felt like crap but I didn't care. My post surgery activities shouldn't have dictated whether or not I had the surgery.
