I'm sick of hearing the excuses made when this team loses!! MT is a whiner, the schedule is the same for every team, they all have to go through stretches like this. I would have had them back on the ice on Monday, but maybe they don't need any practice. The players start reading stuff from the coach and media about how tough the schedule is and they start thinking that they can take a night off now and then. Guess that's the difference between the elite teams and their coaches and the rest. Train

The coaches job is to get the players to give 100% effort and to follow the system. MT fails on the former as he loves to give the team days off following losses. If the team takes the night off and loses as the Habs have done several times this season, the coach should have them on the ice the next morning at 8am. As far as the system goes, it sucks. In conclusion, bring in a coach that is at least part hard-ass that has a better system. Oh yeah, also bring in defensemen who can head man the put out of the zone or carry it themselves. Train

You people just don't get it. The Habs ownership is making plenty of money as the suckers continue to sellout the Bell Centre at the highest ticket prices in the league, pay high concession prices, generate plenty of advertising and merchandising revenue and let's not forget the TV money. Sure they would like to go a couple of playoff rounds but they offset some of that by staying a few million or so under the cap. So what is their incentive to try and win another Stanley Cup?? The Habs will never win another Cup until they change this foolish language policy. If Chiarelli, Burke, Holland, etc were available, the Habs would pass on signing them because they don't speak French?? Same with Coaches. Haven't these fools ever heard of translators? Ridiculous!! But I guess when you sell out every game and charge $15 for a beer then there's no need to worry about stuff like winning. Habs fans need to decide what is most important and vote with their wallets. So far language and mediocrity are acceptable. Train

How long are they going to keep blowing smoke up our as_ _ s regarding Markov. Everyone knows, or should know by now, that this guy is toast and the Habs threw $15M out the window. The Gomez and Markov money is the difference between being a bubble team and competing for the Cup. L Train

Can't hire Lamoriello, doesn't parlez-vous francais. It's a shame (sham) that the organization would rather be PC than win the Stanley Cup. Until they hire the best people for the job regardless of nationally or ability to speak French, the Habs will greatly diminish their chances of winning another cup. Ever heard of translators??? Who's kidding who, Markov is done, probably the dumbest signing in team history aside from acquiring Gomez. $15M down the drain. No playoffs until they can get decent replacements for Markov and Gomez. L Train

WOW, add $5.75M to Gomezes $7M and you now have a waste of nearly $14M worth of cap space. Nice job Pierre!! L TRAIN

A lot of what happens next season hinges on Gomez. Bottom line is that the Habs need to score more and they need at least two good lines to do it. If Gomez doesn't come up with at least 50 points and a much better +/- then no playoffs. If he weren't a center this wouldn't be such a concern for me. L Train

It's not Molson's money, it's the fans that over pay for tickets, beer and merchandise that pay the players. Molson and Gauthier are the trustees who get to decide how to spend our money. No fans, no million dollar players. L Train
