[In Montreal Canadiens' Locker Room] Randy: Hey team, things have been going fairly well lately, but I thought I'd go the extra mile for y'all and bring in a motivational speaker for tonight's game. This here is a budget breaker, so that's it for the rest of the year - it's all I got - so pay attention. For the 5-0 beating the Bulldogs received from the Marlies last night, the entire lower section was 90% full. I don't know how many people that is, but it was pretty busy. -------------- When you feel bad about the Habs, just say to yourself, "The Leafs have "Optimus Rheim" and "The Monster". I'm here with my two girls. All fun! The kids cheer in unrestrainted glee. And why not? A day off school to hang with your friends and watch the coolest game on the planet, right?! Habs might not be doing so hot right now, but sitting here reminds me about the joy of hockey.

Well, Mr. Boone, I expected more from you than to push the old xenophobic line about the coach "needing" to speak French. Canada's history involves both the British and French - and let's not forget the native peoples. I married into a francophone family and have even begun to learn to speak French, so I am nor unlearned in the area of Canada's history and languages. But here's the deal. Like it or not, Canada is diverse - the globe is diverse - and we can't hide in cultural shells anymore! Heck, Samuel Champlain didn't hide in a shell - quite the opposite - he reached out to learn and work with new people of a different culture. Mr. Boone, Randy Cunneyworth deserves a chance, as would any HUMAN BEING from whatever culture. I am sad to go from this site after all the fun I've had here, but I will not participate in perpetuating a culture war that has long hurt Canada. So long everyone.
