2.25M is too much money for a cup winning d-man? What world do you live in? Roman Hamrlik got 5.5M and got less than 7 goals a year. Spacek gets paid 3.8M and has an unmoveable contract. Gomez got 37 points and gets paid more than 3 times what Gill makes.

What's with your hate-on for Pouliot? He's playing for a very stifling defensive system. I don't wanna lose another player with all the tools, it's happened too many times.

Now if you can find out WHY Spacek and Hamrlik play every other game drunker than a Russian in February we'll be in business - Spacek was crazy last game and not in the good way.

Hamrlik's given such a free pass by Stubbs & Co. it's ridiculous.

Hamrlik cost the Habs 3 goals in game2, the last three WSH goals. In Game 4 it was his lazy pinch that lead to the SHG for the first goal against when all the momentum was on the Hab's side.
Boone, or Stubbs or Hickey or Mio - please ask Jacques Martin what he sees in Roman. Is this guy the most charming mother in the NHL? 5.5m dollars a year for a non-physical, no slapshot, aging, slow, and listless player?
