- Comment on Canadiens wake up in first place despite loss to Islanders
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7DeFXgoW-c Thought I'd share some of my video handywork. Go Clutchenyuk Go. Hopefully we sting the Rag$ on Saturday to forget last night. At least we got a point I guess - Comment on What it means
The IIHF World Championship site list Yemelin (or is it Emelin?) at 6' 2" and 223 lbs. TSN says 6' 0" and 180 lbs. I wish we knew the true story because 223 lbs is a good weight for an aggressive checker like Alexei. Which is it? - Comment on No brooms for the Bruins
Anyone happen to catch Don Cherry in Coaches Corner regarding Torres' hit on Seabrook? Cherry said something to the point of, "There's Seabrook knocked out. At least he's not a twit who needs a stretcher"? I wish there was a way to get at Cherry. That's so offside. He's disgusting - Comment on Video update: Chara looks good but still unconfirmed: Julien
I don't know what to expect. The Bruin's should be a very hungry and angry team tonight. But will they be? I proclaimed on Saturday to watch out in game 2 because the Big Bad Bruins will be coming...well, they didn't. If they pull a lacklustre effort tonight I'll be shocked. A 3-0 lead (unless B's can somehow come back) is a virtual pink slip for Julien I bet! - Comment on Hamrlik's award spurs debate
Thought I'd chime in on Hamrlik receiving the Jacques Beauchamp award. It seems that there are the 2 Hamrlik camps. One with people who have issues with his contract versus others who like his play. First off, like many here, I have RDS and I've missed about only 3 games this year. The people who are down on the Hammer confuse me. The guy has been a workhorse. To those who don't see any evidence of this whatsoever I have to wonder what games they've been watching. Boo 'Urns to that! And, who cares about his contract? This isn't the past. It's the present and on July 1st his contract is up. If people want to talk about his questionable play then let's talk about last year. Last year was a bad season for him but not this one. He's been super steady and consistent. Providing us with much needed experience due to losing Markov and Gorges. And, I believe Hamrlik will show the non-believers just how valuble he can be in the playoffs. His veteran presence and experience will be invaluble...IMO. - Comment on Thanks! We needed that
Let's play it smart out there tonight. I wanna see a lot of work from you guys. Use your heads on the ice out there, will ya? We all know how to play hockey. Just play it smart. Get out there and stick 'em! - **** 'em! ****** pop 'em! - Let's go! - Come on! - Come on! - Let's go, now. We need this win yunno, we've got a lot of losses... Yeah we've got a lot of losses That's what we're here for, guys. To win. Play heads-up out there. Let's be smart. Pound for pound were better than any ******* club in the league. Come on, Braden. Our line starts. It's ******* embarrassing. - Comment on Recchi remarks irresponsible, offensive
Hmph, Recchi should shut his yap. Maybe he's right. Maybe this is true but throwing logs on a four alarm fire isn't going to help calm the situation. One that will likely feature a Boston police escort for the Habs and an ugly Beantown crowd. You can bet that the most senior of refs will be working this game tonight. Recchi should just let sleeping dogs lie.
