  Man, there is very little else in the world just screams tradition like Friday afternoon NHL hockey. *sigh* Brings back all those childhood memories of hoppin' off the bus after school and racin' into the house to catch the last five minutes of the 2nd period on the ol' rabbit-eared B&W.

  Carolina: Goal off Price/Diaz, after a high stick, and off a skate. All three were clearly set plays. Habs: Two huge deflections and a shortied bobble. More posts tonight for the Habs than HI/O on a slow day. Strange one.

  Hurts just to read about it, Matty. After you went back inside to retrieve your credit card, your delightful g/f Mélissa told us the most difficult part of the whole thing was you havin' to walk back past the bewildered woman workin' the ticket booth. I almost - almost - retrieved that shiny red box when I passed it later on that night, but was stopped by the realization that this is how a Stephen King novel would start out.
