  Well at least thanks to the CBA it will be a short season. It will be painful. On the upside I hear Nathan MacKinnon is a great player and look good when we have the 1st pick in the 2013 draft.

  From what I have heard and read from all the so-called experts, out of all the Canadian teams that didn't make it, The Habs have the least work to do. The Canadiens have a young core to build around. Now let's win the lottery and get Nail. If not Mikhail isn't a bad runner up choice.

  I must note that I WILL NEVER STOP SUPPORTING THE HABS. But this current season is getting really hard to watch. And I have spent a fair amount of money to watch them play here in Calgary plus Edm and Van. I follow them on the western road trip every year. I pray the compete level improves greatly before this season's trip.

  Here's a little food for thought. What do those coaches have in common? They were both run out of MTL because of a crappy GM or a GM who wanted his friend to coach the team.

  I like the signings. Just need a couple sandpaper guys to round out the team. Size and grit = Time and Space for skilled (aka smaller) players.
