Man that Damien Cox is the real deal. Not just an ass, but a stupid aggravating one to boot. Talking about another big three to compare this one to. Ah yes; Bourque, Blake and Foote. The big three that played 13 regular season games together in 2000-01. The comparison is almost eerie. Cox, you are a twit. GO HABS...

I can appreciate defending your player but if in your defense of said player you tell a lie that makes you come off looking like an idiot perhaps you should just shut up. Case in point is Jim Benning`s comments about the hit. Benning says that the hit was made as Emilin was losing his balance and so determining the head level when Burrows made contact was difficult. He neglected to say that Emelin had realeased the puck, lost his balance, and had enough time to basically regain his footing and his head was almost back up to normal level (and continuing to move up I might add) when Burrows drove up into him. Defending your guy is what it`s all about but Benning looks...well, stupid on this one. GO HABS....

Let them knock the hell out of each other. Clearly, the union, which is the player`s themselves, are okay with it. GO HABS...

Funny how I would never have considered Patches in that C role. A few of you guys mention it, and.......well, I guess he is grown up now and one of the guys to be considered. Yeah, not a bad idea at all. GO HABS...

Seriously. So this is what some people do to add meaning to their lives. Calling for a boycott of a pig festival seems like one helluva a way to make the world a better place. Whatever makes you feel worthwhile I guess. GO HABS...

Weekes is another of those media types that are great with the tweet but ba!!le$$ the rest of the time. I remember him sitting there, with his studio goofy crowd and not saying a word while PJ, McLean and the rest of the morons voiced concerns about every aspect of Pk`s game. And guess what: crickets from Weekes. Crickets! Bad Montreal management. Good CBC analysts. Solid for sure.

This whole thing was nothing but a circus perpetuated by the media. The media spent the last three years talking about this player who didn`t respect the game, didn`t respect the other player`s and was a showboat. The media debated his goal celebrations when other player`s in the league had been doing it for years. The media liked to talk about how he chirped back at other player`s, when he hadn`t yet earned the respect required to do such things, but thought antics from other young guys like Marchand were okay. The media said he was too flashy for the game and should learn that hockey isn`t like those other sports. The media said all these things. The media dissected every mistake he made via the highlite reel the day after games when mistakes by other stars never got replayed or even mentioned. I had to watch LA in the playoffs just to learn that their stud did indeed make mistakes. And then the media all of a sudden reports that Bergevin and the Montreal Canadiens didn`t show enough respect for Pk. All of a sudden the GM in Montreal isn`t rewarding this young stud with what he deserves. Well it says here that the media doesn`t have the brains to pass on any information regarding this because they are a bunch of lying, shi! disturbing jacka$$e$. What a bunch of effin BSing losers. I say, good job MB, PK and you can throw DM in there too. Great day to be a Habs fan. GO HABS...

Yeah. I remember the difficulty the team had in attracting anyone. And he was the guy who initiated the end of that era. I was trying to defend MB more than attack Gainey. Whom I still respect. I really think MB has done a pretty good job up until now and I have no reason to believe any differently after today. GO HABS...

Not sure what you mean. I compared the reaction of the fans to two different GM`s. One made a deal that we knew the details of and one didn`t (at the time) make a deal on something that we didn`t know a dam thing about. I was comparing my perception of what I thought people`s response was to the two scenarios. I guess Gainey`s status as an all time great bought him leverage. MB had no such luxury. GO HABS...
