But why post here about it... aren't there some Blues forums since they're having record sales/coverage. The struggles of today will make the victories of tomorrow that much sweeter. - Comment on Price faces the music
1. 4.5 million, definitely overpaid, but we always overpay here. He fits what we needed. If his goals are still in the single digits by the All-Star break then there's a problem 2. Gill isn't playing great atm and D is severly depleted. 3. Lars Eller is a talented young hockey player. Will he be a regular 30 goal scorer... no... does he look a lot like a young Pleks... yes. 4. when another player with the last name Gomez makes the NHL. 5. This team beat the Sens 7-1, we lost in a shootout in a game where our best player (Price) admittedly had a off night. Your comparison is WAY off. I think you only had 4 questions and added that to get to 5 :P. The struggles of today will make the victories of tomorrow that much sweeter. - Comment on Back to work, with medical updates, audio
First off, I'm truly enjoying how jlgib21 keeps coming up with pointless statements just to be shut down by true fans, only to then reappear a little bit later for more punishment. Funny thing is though that I agree with some of what he says, mostly about JM. But players like D'Ags, SK74 and The Tenderness were streaky at best while in here and didn't show the willingness to grow and mature. Yes their stats look good on the teams they play on, but what you have to realize is they just took the free ride to top line minutes by going to teams that have less depth than us. On another point, is it just me or does the stick Webber is using in the pic look small enough for my 9 year old brother... We lost Campoli to what I hear is a torn tendon and the got slapped, bunched, kicked, thrown around for 2 periods. The struggles of today will make the victories of tomorrow that much sweeter. - Comment on Video: Habs react to 2-0 loss to Toronto
These are fair arguments, but they also prove that Cole performs best 5-5... So why was he playing 3rd line minutes. You can throw all sorts of stats out but Jacques martin blew this one like a pro. I'd love to know which reporter asked Carey about what happened on the 1st goal. When it goes in he's been pushed into his net and is lieing there helplessly. The reporter at the end says "You just kinda lost it". I bet the reporter couldn't find a buck if it was sitting on the a table infront of him. I agree with you that the problem is management, but I think Molson is going to have a short fuse. Bad start to this season could result in some swift changes... Hopefully at least. The struggles of today will make the victories of tomorrow that much sweeter.
