  If at the start of the season someone said Montreal was going to be where they are right now you would have thought they were nuts. Be happy with what we have achieved this year but don't expect much the rest of the way. We are worn down and beat up.

  This whole board is all doom and gloom. Can I remind you that we finished last in the east last season? Do you honestly think we were going to win the cup this year? I for one think we played over our heads for the most part this season and thats why we are where we are now. Carey Price is a very good goaltender, he just isn't a great goaltender, he's no Patrick Roy so don't expect him to be and I highly doubt he will ever lead us to a Stanley Cup. Our team is woefully small so I think we have taken a lot of punishment this year and are wore down. People keep saying it was a huge mistake to not make a trade at the deadline. I think it was smart to stand pat. Dumping Gomez, Kaberle this summer and Eric Cole's contract frees up some money to sign players this summer. We will get bigger and stronger. Stop focusing on this year and look at our future and all our young guys we have coming up. If we win a round or two this year it's a bonus but if we don't then who cares. Bergevin still has a lot of work to do to right this ship. Be patient.
