  PK isn't the only defenseman on the team. Other players deserve a chance to play and prove their worth. If they're playing well, they shouldn't be forced to sit after 2 games just so PK can get his chance at redemption. Everybody questions the coach's decision, but we're not interacting with the players, so we have less information to make these decisions on. Speculation can only go so far.

  I don't care if he does or doesn't speak to the media. I don't care if he seems mature or not! Why is it in his best interest? Because you say so? Or because there's a spiral effect? Whatever! That doesn't matter in Montreal; it's always a lot of attention, no matter what.

  Speaking to the media or not is not a measure of manhood or maturity. Neither is that night he raised his arms in exasperation. People read way too much into things, methinks.

  Carey should do whatever puts him most at ease and keeps him happy. If not answering the same questions and not fake-smiling and not BSing for 3 minutes about a topic that isn't really worth discussing makes him a little more comfortable, then good for him.
