Man, anybody see that hit on Carcillo last night? Well, personally I don't think Komisarek should be suspended. I mean, really, it was the boards that hurt Carcillo, not the hit. If ol' Komi had hit him like that at centre ice, no one would even remember the play this morning. It's unfortunate that Carcillo had to leave, but in the end it's just part of the game. Besides, it's not like he, oh, I don't know, broke his neck or anything. And really, Komisarek's a good guy, so I'm sure he didn't mean to do it. Yeah, the league should just let this one go, I think.
Bah.
As to the Habs game last night, I had a hard time watching, sort of drifted in and out. Pretty listless, but mostly what I expected. I wouldn't have felt like playing last night either.

Eh, I can't say I'm familiar with this guy's work, but I'm pretty sure that entire article was written sarcastically.

In Renaud Lavoie's interview with Max, Max mentions something that's been bugging me all day because NO ONE has talked about it. He says that in the "new NHL," Chara's not supposed to be allowed to get in his way when he's chasing the puck, and he's absolutely right. I'd love to hear someone from the league's front office explain just what in the hell all those rule changes were implemented for if they're not going to enforce them.
